What is the RainDrain Sump Unit used for?

It can be installed as a catch pit or provide a horizontal outlet to a 110 mm PVC‑U pipe. The sump also support easy maintenance of the drainage system. By collecting debris in a single accessible chamber, the sump makes it easy to maintain the system—simply remove the cover and clean out the chamber periodically.

Can the foul air trap be connected directly to the RainDrain channel?
No. The horizontal foul air trap cannot be connected directly to the channel; it can only be connected to the horizontal outlet on the sump unit.
